Because this travel tour guide including a car we take our time in each place we visit and share with you travel tips of the island. Our trip starts from Argostoli but first actually from Airport where we can Rent-a-car from a few services. It's relative cheap service and five companies offer Rent-a-car service. Then we drive to Argostoli where is our starting point for travel throught island.

In Argostoli it's good to stay day or two to spend some time with locals and visit interesting sights around. When we're living further we can buy ticket for Ferry Boat and sail to Lixuori. It's a nice town but we drive throught peninsula to our fisrt stop Petani Beach which is a beautiful beach that reminds the beach of Myrtos. We continue driving to Atheras Beach which is small nice place to relax.

Then we drive to the most photographed beach of Kefalonia Myrtos. Colors of the sea in Myrtos always change and you must stop on the top of the hill by the road where you can see Myrtos from the bird wiev! At the afternoon it could be crowd but the beach is very long so you can find place for you. But if you like a little peace for yourself you must come a the beach early in the morning ar late night when you can swim almost by yourself.

From Myrtos we travel along coast and we stop in very nice Assos Village which on of the few villages the earthquake did not desroy. You must see.
Small with two beaches could be crowd but for one night stand it's very beautiful. We continue to the top of the island to visit Fiscardo, for most guests the most beautiful village in Kefalonia and very cosmopolitan.
It has the northernmost port of the Ionian island of Kefalonia and a view to Ithaca island to which you could sail with boat.

In this Tour we travel from Argostoli to Fiscardo by the west coast. In Part 2 we will travel backwards by east coast from Fiscardo to Argostoli.
